Pay a lot less for heating - with a grant

Rising energy costs can hit your wallet hard - and it's easy to forget how cold it was last year whilst the sun is shining. If you'd like to change things for the better and reduce next winter's energy bills, the time to act is now!  Apply for a home insulation grant and next winter you'll be warm and cosy, but with much smaller bills.

A well insulated home can:

• Reduce heat loss through the roof
• Reduce heat loss through the walls
• Reduce the energy needed to keep it at a comfortable temperature
• Reduce the amount you pay every month to your energy suppliers!

How do you qualify?

The good news is that these grants are the result of a Government initiative to reduce the UKs energy consumption and if you’re an owner/occupier or a private tenant you can apply – and the grants are not means tested.

You don’t need to declare your income, savings or jump through lots of hoops.  You can get a grant from between 72%-100% of the cost of insulation.

The bad news is that the funding is not a bottomless pit – a specific amount has been allocated for home insulation – when it’s all been awarded to applicants; that’s it.  So you do need to get your application in as quickly as possible.
